What To Do During a Seizure

What NOT To Do

Stay calm.
Do not hold the person down.
Protect the person's head
Do not put anything in their mouth.
Move dangerous objects away.
Do not give food or water immediately after the seizure.
Turn the person onto their side once the seizure has ended.
Do not panic.
Time the seizure.
Do not leave the person.
Stay with the person until they have fully recovered.
Do not lift the person up immediately.

  • Another Seizure starts right away

  • The person has trouble breathing
